Practice background

The origins of the Raheny Medical GP Practice are traced back to 1972 when Dr. Fox set up a practice on the Howth Road in Raheny. Initially working on his own with no administration or nurse back up, Dr Fox has built up a loyal patient base, often treating 4 generations of the same family. In May 2007, the practice moved to its current location in the Raheny Shopping Centre with Dr. Lynch, Dr. Healy and Practice nurse Denise joining the practice full-time along with a full administration team.

All doctors, nurses and administration staff at Raheny Medical pride themselves on placing all their patients’ needs first and providing a complete community based family care service. In response to the needs of our patients, we have recently introduced an ultrasound service and minor surgery clinic.

We also provide medical services to the local staff of companies including the CIE and Port Authority.
